NMASC is looking for high school graduates who were members in good standing of their high school Student Council; highly recommended, positive role-models of high integrity, with Stu Co passion; in their first or second year after high school graduation to be alumni leaders as a part of our Summer Workshop staff serving in the position of Junior Counselor (JC).
If YOU are an interested, qualified, Stu Co alumni please complete the NMASC 2017 Summer Workshop JC Online Application. In addition to the online application – three letters of recommendation are required.
Completed online application and letters of recommendation are due by March 16. If you have previously been a JC, then you only need to complete the online application.
NMASC will provide roundtrip mileage to Socorro; lodging/meals/ workshop t-shirts. JCs will arrive on Monday, June 5th to assist with pre-workshop preparations and leave on Friday, June 9th after workshop clean-up. JCs will assist councils; with recreation and other activities; and with other Workshop related tasks as assigned.

Once you've completed the application, you will be directed to a link for downloading the JC Recommendation Form. Please have three references each complete a copy of the recommendation form. One of the three references MUST be your high school student council advisor (unless you have previously been a JC - then you only need to submit the online application). Ask them to please mail it so that it is postmarked by MARCH 10 to the following address:

You will be contacted no later than April 1st to let you know if you have been accepted as a JC.
